I specialize in evaluating children and adults who are struggling to succeed in school and at work - such evaluations often focus on learning differences, attentional issues, or difficulties with social skills.

Adult evaluations often focus on a specific diagnosis (e.g., Autism or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder - ADHD) that may have been missed throughout childhood.

Child evaluations are comprehensive in nature because many factors come together to affect a child's performance in school. Every child should be supported in school so that they feel competent, happy, and engaged. Some students need specialized services to reach these goals, and a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation is often the first step to getting these interventions.

I will work with your family to understand your child's personal strengths and areas of weakness. I take into account family history and dynamics, birth and developmental history, and school history and current functioning, as well as performance on standardized assessments.

Evaluations largely include comprehensive standardized assessments, interviews with parents, teachers, and other providers, as well as classroom observation. I also provide targeted evaluations for autism spectrum disorders, both as part of more comprehensive evaluations and as stand-alone evaluations.

I strive to help families understand, and work with, each student's individual strengths and struggles to help them be successful learners.

I look forward to working with you and your family!
