I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Developmental Neuropsychologist practicing in Manhattan. I earned my Masters in School Psychology from Queens College in 2012 and my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) in 2013. After practicing within the Columbia University Faculty Practice, I started my own private practice in 2017.
After training as a school psychologist and working in several public and private schools in New York City and Brooklyn, I completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in developmental neuropsychology at Promise at Columbia University Medical Center. My work at the Promise Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and educational advocacy to under-served children. This experience provided me with a unique opportunity to help students who would have difficulty accessing private neuropsychological evaluations, and to find appropriate school settings and services for them. I have successfully testified at numerous impartial hearings to secure private placement and compensatory services.
In my private practice I strive to work with students and their families to see the whole child and to help families and schools work together to make the best possible environment for each child. Evaluations are a tool we can use to help your child feel happy and successful at school and in life!
